Requirements and Fees of Membership
Thinking of becoming a REALTOR®? If so, the following will guide you through the process of doing so.
If you currently hold an active Michigan real estate license and have become active with a broker that it already a REALTOR® member, all you need to do is complete the REALTOR® Membership Application and the MLS Participation Agreement, along with the Application Fee Dues payment to the Association. Another requirement to membership is the attendance of the next Orientation class available.
The following are the 2014 Association Dues for New Members:

New Member Dues/Fees above include $100 application fee, $50 NGLR MLS fee, as well as prorated local, state and national dues, state processing advocacy fees and national assessment fees. To see further breakdown of the total fees click here. Orientation is mandatory at the next available class for all New Members.
If you currently hold an active Michigan Brokers real estate licensee and have opened a real estate company as a sole proprietorship, corporation, partnership or L.L.C., all you need to do is complete the REALTOR® Membership Application and the MLS Participation Agreement, along with the MLS Office Fee, Application Fee and Dues payment to the Association. Other requirements of membership are attendance of the next Orientation class available and payment of monthly MLS Fees, times the number of agents in your firm. Each broker will be invoiced for MLS fees on a monthly basis of $51.50 per agent.

All Orientation Classes are held quarterly at the Association office at 111 South Lansing Street Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. Registration is required for attendance. Attendance is mandatory at the next available class.
